Good hotel, unacceptable bed mattress.
Generally the hotel was good. The biggest advantage of Aston is the location. It is close to the beach and the old town, close to the bus station, close to the shopping streets. We just couldnt get a decent sleep on those beds.

No way 3.5 star
The Hotel carpet was probably cleaned in 1984. there was a whole in the ceiling, the sliding glass door had no lock, there were ants on the floor and a nice mold border around the ceiling of the room. The room was one of the worst places I have stayed. Now in all fairness, I will say that that the location was very good, right off the the prommanade and the public spaces were 3.5 star as was the hotel staff, very helpful.... But the room was aweful. Makes me really really doubt the star system Expedia gives.

The old town is only 5 min walk from the hotel and has a huge slecetion of nice resturants. teh flower market is great
