Great Expedia Deal

The Expedia price was one third of what the posted rates were. This is a great location in the most luxurious neighborhood in Paris just 2 blocks off the Champs. The room was filled with beautiful furniture but very little storage. The bathroom was large even by American standards and the staff was very helpful and very gracious. They let us check in early after our 6AM arrival in Paris. The breakfast is too expensive and you can find breakfast much cheaper nearby.

Convenient to many attractions

The Hotel Claridge is a few blocks away from the Champs Elysees and is in walking distance to the Arc de Triomphe, the Place de la Concorde, the Grand Palace, the Louvre, and Notre Dame. For the more capable walkers, you can also walk to the Eiffel Tower, the Invalides, the Rodin Museum, and other attractions located in a mile radius. It is also conveniently located near two metro stops. The hotel is quite charming. It has a spiraling staircase to the rooms, or an elevator may also be taken. There is a small balcony in each room that may be used to enjoy the view. There is TV, a refrigerator, phone service, and a safe. The bathroom is completely furnished with essentials and a robe and slippers are supplied. The staff was very friendly, extremely helpful, and knew us by name. They would ask how we enjoyed our evening’s events as they unlocked the front door for us after our midnight return. I would highly recommend this hotel!

Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks

There is a nice breakfast place a few blocks to the left that serves bacon and egg sandwiches at a reasonable price. There is also a market within a few blocks where cereal, bread, milk, and juice can be obtained for a good breakfast.

Romantic and Charming Hotel

I loved this hotel. It was charmingly decorated and well cared for. The staff was VERY helpful and VERY efficient. The location was convenient to restaurants, shopping, and transportation. I can’t say how pleased I was during my stay, and I can’t wait to stay at the Claridge again.

Very impressed with this hotel. We paid extra to upgrade to a junior suite (inc breakfast)on arrival. Huge difference in rooms.. Highly recommend an upgrade if you can. Breakfast was buffet style(we ate heaps!)Great location - safe upmarket area - close to most major attractions either walk or train. All staff spoke english and were helpful and friendly. My Stay at Claridge Hotel-Paris

At first I was a bit disappointed becuase when I booked the hotel on Expedia i thought it is the claridge above Sephora in the Champs Elysee. When we went there we were re-directed to the other claridge at Rue Marbeuf. The hotel is generally comfortable and clear, it’s place is quite central however I think it’s over priced or at least we paid more than we should have thinking that it’s the other claridge as previously explained. I recommend the hotel, the service was OK but I am sure for the price we paid we could have settled for a better bargain.

Traveler's tip on local attractions

Great places I visited and I recommend in Paris. The famous : Eiffel Tower- Lido- Sacre Couer-Mon Martre and Louvre. I also recommend you take the night Parisien cruise. It was owesome!

Great hotel, nice location, super friendly staff

We spent 5 nights here in July, and absolutely loved the place. Our room was awesome - great layout, decor, etc... the bathroom size was unusually comfortable. ALL the staff were extremely friendly and helped us out on many occasions. Would definitely return in an instant!

Good location; take your own shampoo and soap...

The hotel is very well located, they do offer Bulgary products but...save then...they just put shampoo, shower gel and soap the first day only. When we inquired, the answer was: it is every other day, we replied: this is our third day; they replied: well, today we do not have any...we have to wait until tomorrow (!!!???).

Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay

Take a sightseing tour the first day, you can leave or enter the bus in the places you want to see in more detail, and go back. Do not miss Angelina’s and the Rue of Rivoli. Beautiful city!

OK at reduced price

Great location off Les Champs Elysees. Shower damaged in first room. AC didn’t work (for 3 days of 8) in second. Staff somewhat helpful. Room cleanliness average - had to ask for towels toiletries daily despite tipping. Is really a good 3 Star - not true 4 in any aspect

Traveler's tip on local attractions

Always purchase Museum pass to skip maasinvce lines (Louvre, Arc, Rodin) Passes avaialble in many retail outlets (Fnac).

Excellent Choice ONE BLOCK from the Champs Elysees and Most Tourist sites.

Excellent hotel with outstanding and helpful staff. The property is older (It’s Paris) but very well maintained and very clean. It is blocks from many of the fashion houses and you can walk to the Eifell Tower, Arc de Triomphe and the river cruises. Take the river tours! Many sidewalk cafes within blocks in all directions. Less than a ten minute cab ride to the Louvre. Several night clubs close by and all of the shopping you can handle. Staff was courteous, floor had personal maid, very old fashioned and European. Top of the line service and products. We loved it, especially the close proximity to everything. Several staff members spoke English and they were wonderful and always kind and accommodating. Stayed out sometimes until 1:00 and 2:00 in the morning and always felt safe in the area. This was a side mom and college aged daughter trip while working in Europe. Safe property and area. My 6th hotel in the last 5 weeks so I am quite particular and chose this one due to other reviews. Great choice, especially for seeing the Paris sites. Upgrade if you can, the property was full and we could not, but even with the smallest room we were still comfortable and quite pleased with all of the services. This was a two week trip for us and we only stayed two nights but were on the property for three full days because our flight left late at night the final day. The property had a huge luggage room and took care of all of our bags on the check out date while we toured all over Paris.

Traveler's tip on local attractions

Very close and convenient to all of the major Paris sites and shopping. We were amazed. The close proximity cut down on the costs of our trip.

Fantastic location - great way to start your visit in Paris

Wonderful staff! We actually checked in around 9:30am with no issues (quite early and by chance) and the room & bathroom, particularly, were very good size for Paris and comfortable. The bathroom size & layout alone took the whole room up a notch. We did not have a scenic view from our window and the walls are pretty thin, but outside of that fantastic! One of the best locations I could recommend - just minutes from the Champs Elysee and numerous other focal points. We enjoyed the evening walks home from being out & it was a great start every morning. If you’re shopping, enjoying fine dining, and want the "Paris" experience you see in lights - this place is it! Highly recommend!

Traveler's tip on local attractions

1 block from the most expensive shopping district in Paris. 5 minutes from the Champs Elysee & 10 minutes from the Arc de Triomphe. Great access to the bridges to cross over from the Right bank to Left bank & metro very close.

Good Choice

We stayed in a deluxe room which was spacious, comfortable and quiet. Hotel is conveniently located a short walk from the Champs Elysees and the subway stations and a little longer walk to the Eiffel Tower. Staff was great. We would stay there again.

Satisfied with hotel

The hotel room was clean and large by European standards. I asked for a queen size bed and they gave us a king size bed which was very nice. Hotel staff was polite.

Not impressed

Pros- The location of the hotel is excellent with an abundance of cafes, restaurants and bistros all around. Easy walking distance to the metro, shops and sights location, Bvlgari products in the bath, reception staff very helpful and friendly Cons-extremmly small rooms, not enough hotel amenities ( they didn’t refill the bath supplies unless you called , and then it would take them half an hour or so to bring them), breakfest more expensive than at the best restaurants -a "king" bed, it was truly two twins pushed together

Perfect Location

I spent 1 week on Spring break with my 2 teenage children. The location of this boutique hotel is perfect. Just close enough to the Champs Elysees and the hustle and bustle, but far enough to be on a quaint side street with great local fare. The front desk staff was very pleasant, knowledgeable, and eager to serve. They spoke relatively good English (I am fluent in French so that was not a problem for me). We did not purchase the breakfast as it was very expensive. The room was clean and a good size for Paris standards, but it was a tight squeeze for the 3 of us and our luggage. You have to ask for the bathroom amenities as they do not replenish on their own. I would return here next time, which will be with my husband, without the kids.

Good for short stay

It is a good clean hotel, but only for sleeping as most of the rooms are really small.
