I expected this place to be a bit noisy with street traffic on busy Euston Road. However I input a wake up call for 4 AM to catch Eurostar and the thing went off everyday after for several days. It took them 4 days to fix it. Very annoying, you could not turn it off. Room was good size for UK. Convenient to train station, not the nicest end of London but an area that has improved much over the last decade. If you need to be close to train stay there, if not stay in Hyde Park where it’s much quieter.

Most museums are free. Imperial War Museum, Science Museum, V&A are a must. National Gallery is worth the time also. All the other obvious must see things can be done in a day on the big bus. Catch a football game for real sports passion. Eat in pubs, it’s much cheaper.

A luxurious environment at a reasonable price

This is a very high quality hotel, well located for travel, touring, and shopping. Service is excellent and the ameneties are impressive. When our traveling companions saw what a great view we had from our room, they requested -- and received -- a transfer to the same floor, so that they could share it.

Located right outside the St. Pancras underground station, making every attraction in London accessible with a short ride.

Good Hotel, Convenient Location

The Novel at London’s St. Pancras station is super convenient if you take an interntional train to London as the station is right down the street from the hotel. The hotel is clean and well maintained. My major gripe is that they put me in a 1st floor room facing a street filled with pubs that rocked out all night long. I had a hard time sleeping with all the noise.

The St. Pancras station is also attached to the local metro so it is super easy for getting around London.

Pretty good

I enjoyed my stay in Novotel St. Pancras. The rooms are clean and staff was friendly and helpful. Beds are comfortable. It’s conveniently located between two major subway stations. The only problem is the lack of room for luggage. It would be nice to provide a bag stand at least.

Great Location!

I stayed for a little over a week - the hotel was very nice, standard hotel with over priced food. But the rooms were very clean and the staff nice. The greatest thing about this place was the location - litterally 2 blocks from the international train station, national train station and the tube. Plus plenty of local eating within walking distance so no need to eat expensive hotel food. Location, Location, Location!

Surprise packet!

This hotel is very conveniently located just 50 metres from the Eurostar terminal at St.Pancras International. It is also right next door to the fabulous treasures of the new British Library! Staff at this hotel were very courteous, quality of our Executive suite was top class and great value for money....will be returning to this hotel next time I am in London.

Very good restaurants nearby in the university area, plus the Library and the tube and Eurostar terminal.

Easy access from ST Pancras station. Clean and in good condition, quiet area.

Excellent service

I would recommend this hotel to any person that visits London for the first time. The hotel did have a cooling system which was nice being from the US and being used to air conditioning since many hotels in London do not have A/C. The staff at the hotel were wonderful you can call them for virtually everything, they bumped us up from a standard 2 twin bedroom, to a suite with a queen bed with a down comforter, and a very comfortable bed, the pillows are foam unfortunately I would have like to see the pillows in down material, the room had many places to store your clothes in the room, hair dryer in the room, lots of extras like tea, hot tea maker, cookies each night and much more. We never ate in the hotel, as it is quite expensive, but there are many pubs and local eateries within view of the hotel. The hotel might seem a bit louder traffic wise since it is on a main road, but this is also nice since you are basically 2 blocks either way from the tub/subway stations. This hotel did not offer a washer/dryer in the facility which would be nice if one is planning to stay for any length of time. If you are not really into kids this is a great hotel to stay at since it seems that most business people stay here, there were a few kids, but not many kids which made the hotel even quieter. The hotel does offer internet service for a daily room charge, or you can pay downstairs in the business office. I would definately stay at this hotel again.

We had the converter boxes, and adapters, and all were to heavy to stay in the wall. We are buying appliances such as curling irons, and computer adapters for UK before we visit again.

Great for Modern London

I have stayed at this hotel several times.I love the location and the look of the hotel.I have always taken the least expensive room available. I’m sure that the more costly rooms are really great. I have only one negative comment, the breakfasts are extremely expensive. However there both a Pret A Manger and Starbucks across the street.

Cleaning issue

There was nothing wrong with this hotel apart from the stinky bathroom. It stunk of urine and was not properly cleaned.

My first choice every time!

I have stayed in the Novotel near King’s Cross-St. Pancras twice now. The hotel dinner fare is a bit pricy and unappealing and the staff at the restaurant a little unaccommodating, but the rest of the staff are great and eager to make the stay as pleasant as possible. The location can’t be beat, the rooms are clean and spacious, and I will definitely try to stay there when I’m in London.

Great hotel at a great price via expdia

Getting to stay at a hotel for half the price on the back of the door is always great, but the location and friendly, helpful staff is also what makes novotel so great. I would reccomend it and stay again... so close to the underground!
