Typical retro-fitted Paris hotel
The hotel staff were excellent with the exception of one guy who couldnt care less about helping or even noticing people were there. The room was small and retrofitted with a private bathroom (typical in Paris). The toilet was placed so I couldnt fit my knees in front of the toilet (i.e., I had to sit kind of side-saddle) which could make problems for a larger person (Im only 56" and 125lbs). The hotel does have a luggage room if you arrive prior to when your room is ready. The breakfast was a nice typical french breakfast (croissants, yogurt, baguette, coffee, water). The hotel is near a metro stop. Overall, I was happy with this hotel for a great budget option. My main concern with hotels is that they are clean and this one was. Fussier people will probably need to find a pricier hotel.

Who says the french are stuck up?
The staff was so helpful especially with helping to retrieve my lost luggage from Air France. Breakfast was better than expected, and the hotel is located close to reasonably priced resturants. All in all, a good deal.
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
If you plan to see a lot of sights, just get a train pass for the number of days that is closer to your stay. PS Dont eat in the center of town? Cafes are astronomical- the hard rock is cheaper.
