Good bargain off beaten path
My wife and I stayed for 8 nights, with few complaints. The staff are all exceptionally helpful and courteous, and the common areas are comfortable and attractive. We ended up with one of the smaller rooms (#208), with barely enough room for the bed. The bathroom, however, was great - brightly lit, clean, plenty of hot water. The location is conveniently near the Port Maillot Metro and RER station, and the Arc De Triomphe is just a short walk away.
Skip the Metro and walk everywhere - the view is much more interesting above-ground. From the Arc De Triomphe to Notre Dame, the walk is just a bit more than 3 mi (5 km), and you’ll treat yourself to some of the most beautiful views in Paris.

Villa Des Ternes Hotel
The room was small, but it was still comfortable. It had a nice view of the street below. It was within walking distance to the avenue de Champs Elysees. There was also a nice small park nearby which was a pleasant place to eat lunch.
