Dont Stay Here on Weekends
The price of this hotel was cheap so we did not expect much. The Good: Close to metro station Dupleix but facing a small side street which is quiet at night. Internet, laundromat, market, deli, bakery and restaurants all within walking distance. Room is small as expected but clean. The Bad: Hair dryer did not work and they did not fix it or gave us a replacement. One little bar of soap every other day. The Ugly: Very poor sound proofing. The hotel was packed on Friday and Saturday night with guests coming back after clubbing at 3:30am, laughing, screaming, chatting in the hallway till 6:30am. We could hear every word of the conversation clearly. We complained but nothing was done.

Disappointed with Tim Hotel Staff/Accommodations
they moved us to another tim hotel because the hot water was not working in our room. we told them we didnt mind because we wanted that particular location (near the eiffel tower and a wonderful neighborhood) they would not budge and insisted we could not stay there. it took an hour by cab (they did pay for that) to get to the other tim hotel where they treated us miserably. We tried to get directions from a desk clerk who started yelling at us that he didnt speak English. Overall it was awful. I will never book there again!

Interested in going back
Eiffel tower in walking distance. Hotel could use some mechanical improvements, such as repairing bathroom lights, we stayed 2 nights withought working bathroom lights, then they changed us into another room. The staff were great, from front desk to breakfast staff. Staff assisted us during a metro strike for alternatives and provided great restaurant choices. Location was great. Close to metro and bus stops. Area was within the "locals meeting area" and gave one a view of their life.
Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay
Wonderful opportunity to see weekly markets, daily bread, cheese and meat markets and friendly pubs, all with a variety of languages spoken. A great example of an area of daily life!

Smallest elevator possible!
NO air conditioning, a very loud street, and an overpriced breakfast, but the staff was helpful, the room clean and the location within a 20 minute walk to the Eiffel Tower.

Cute little hotel in a wonderful location
Two things upfront...if you have a bad back..this is not the place for you. And if you have sensitive hearing...(ie anything will keep you up at night) again, not the place for you. Otherwise, this place was wonderful, staff kept things very clean, they were very helpful and you are so close to everything you may need. Eiffel Tower is approx 3 minute walk, various eateries (of various cultures). The Bistro around the corner was a common spot for us, breakfast in the hotel was perfect...and two streets up (where all the shopping is ladies) theres a McDonalds (when youre feeling a little homesick). I would like to note...that not only was the coffee at the McDonalds acceptable but it was delicious. Bathroom was very big (compared to what I expected) and the room was just big enough for my son and I. VERY THIN WALLS and the bed was horrible. We slept on top of every blanket in the room to mask the springs...late November and it stayed warm enough in our room to not have to use the blankets.
