Completely renovated with hospitable decor and a favoured position opposite the flamboyant gothic Cathedral and the famous "Maison Kammerzell", Cathédrale is a truly exceptional hotel. Its location in the heart of the pedestrian zone (with two car parks within 50 metres), makes it the perfect base for discovering the must beautiful museums, theatres, opera, shops and gastronomie restaurants, not to mention the welcoming Alsatian "winstubs" (typical restaurants serving specialities of the region).

Great Location
Our top floor, front room overlooked the Cathedral and was the perfect location for visiting Strasbourg. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was on the small side, adequate for our needs, clean and comfortable. Free WiFi in the room was a real plus. On the downside, we were awakened at 7 a.m. by trash trucks and church bells and the room location required lugging our suitcases up two half flights of stairs at either end of the short elevator ride.

The audio walking tour purchased at the Visitor’s Information Office was exceptionally well done and provided an outstanding introduction to the city.
