The Best People
My stay at The Marriott was fab. My room was very comfortable and quiet. The Marriott staff was the best. Always friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel was perfect for my needs, easy to get around town. I will stay there again on my next Liverpool trip. Only one complaint: $30.00 to use wi-fye for my laptop was ridiculous.

Watch out for window washers
We loved the hotel and the view of Cincy. However, the next morning the window washers went to work. The hotel had shears but no real curtains. We took a photo of the guy!

Fantastic Experience
Everyone at the Marriott seemed to go out of their way to make us not only comfortable but welcome- what a P.R. crew for the City of Liverpool! Not to mention that the Marriott was conveniently right across from the Lime Street station we rode into- we just crossed the street! From the desk clerk to the concierge to the maids, everyone was friendly and helpful at the Marriott, and we ate at several great restaurants that skirt the property- the Marriott is our new home in Liverpool, and already several friends are planning the trek to the Beatles’ hometown and looking at the Marriott as home base.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
La Tasca, the Spanish restaurant right there by the Marriott is wonderful. The Beatles Experience Museum is well worth the trip, as is the Magical Mystery Tour bus tour. And of course, don’t miss Matthew Street and the Cavern club-- great street performers with the Mersey sound on the street and in the Cavern Club!
