The most disgusting MOTEL ever!
This place does not have the right to call itself "Palace Hotel and Suites." It smelled horribly, there were odd holes in the wall, it looked dirty, and the elevator smelled like urine - I could go on and on. This place looked like the kind of place people rent by the hour. I have never been so disgusted in my life. We were scheduled for 2 nights and had to leave the following morning. When I look for a hotel to stay at I usually do my homework. I like to read reviews, check their websites, etc. Especially for hotels that don’t already have a reputation. I picked this hotel because it was close to the wedding reception I was attending and considering the amount of money I had already spent on my vacation in Miami, I was looking for cheaper 2 nights stay while in Fort Lauderdale. The pictures on this hotel’s website match those given by Expedia but not the actual hotel. It may have looked like that years ago when it was first built but not now. Not the room, not furniture, not the pool area, NOTHING looked like in the images. I have stayed in hotels with similar rates they were a million times better. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, EVER, under any circumstance.
