Good basic Hotel
Good basic hotel in an ok neighborhood in east Frankfurt. I was disappointed that internet was not included in the room price -- cost an extra 13 euro. Be careful of the extra charges. Location is 3 blocks from Ostbahnhof and the street trolley is close by as well.

A Great Deal if You Dont Mind a Slightly Peripheral Location
As others before have said, the hotel is a little bit out of the way -- a 10-15 minute tram ride to the central train station. However, it has much to recommend it. If you go when a convention is not in town, the rates are very reasonable. The room itself was very comfortable. People have complained about the thin pillow; I just brought a small down one along, also useful for cushioning gifts. Having a kitchenette was wonderful, particularly as there is a great supermarket one block away, where I found really healthy food, including ready-made salads and great yogurt..together with lots of yummy but not so healthy food. The hotel staff was also helpful in terms of helping with traveling-related questions. I did not eat at the restaurant but it sure is nice to have one at hand. Finally, as a solo female traveler, I felt very safe in the neighborhood during the day...not sure I would walk around at night, but thats just me. All in all, I couldnt have asked for more ... though its slightly peripheral location added a degree of inconvenience for me and the tour company picking me up.
Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay
I found it difficult coordinating train and boat schedules to do more than two Rhine towns in one day. If it is really important to spend time in a number of Rhine towns, plan on an overnight or two in one of the towns and do your own tour. I ended up taking a day cruise from Frankfurt; it was OK but no great shakes. No regrets, though, as it provided instant companionship, and I had a relaxing day. The boat ride from Rudesheim to St. Goarshausen was enough since it was rather chilly that day.

Satisfactory
This hotel is slightly more out of the city center than we thought. Quite the walk, but an easy ride on the S-Bahn. Also were surprised with a nice kitchenette, which we used a lot to save money on food. Friendly staff and free espresso.

Wonderful customer service
The front-desk staff were so friendly and helpful that it made our visit to a foreign country much easier. Its a little difficult to find since its down a small side street. Overall I highly recommend them.

great price during ambiente
hotel was fine, great price during the messe, a little out of the way, best to take the Sbahn rather than taxis which can get expensive

Nice business hotel
As far as I gathered, the best rooms are on the upper floor - they have a balcony. And this is where I had my room.

Leipzig Wow!
Super Westin in Leipzig! Every amenity was wonderful...food gourmet and the Bahnhoff was only a 5 minute walk..the Leipzig Zentrum about 10 minutes by foot. What a nice place.

Much better than expected, definitely stay for the weekend
Very good hotel, I got a good weekend rate but weekly rate is weirdly about 25% more expensive. I got a non smoking room on the top floor which has a balcony, not much of a view but nice bonus. Lots of great features not usually seen in a basic private single. The room is a very good size, big bed, nice and warm in -5C cold, big wardrobes, decent and clean bathroom, no curfew, most surprising was a fully equipped mini kitchen with all cooking utensils wow. Forget paying 7EUR for breakfast theres a huge supermarket 300m away and its very cheap, buy all your groceries and cook it in your room. Only negatives are: 1) why are the pillows so soft? like only 20% of the filling in there 2) its not that close to the city area but tram stop 150m round the corner, it runs late too, train is about 300m, tram is a better choice with where it goes, you have to change trains sometimes from that station to make it to the shopping area. If you are willing to put up with a little hassle getting there at 3am in the morning it is an absolute must stay.
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
Very nice hotel room, bang to buck best ive stayed in. If the EUR is much stronger than your currency, take advantage of the mini kitchen in there its good, get your groceries from the supermarket around the corner and have decent food, not kebabs on the go all the time. 20EUR I made continental brekky and lunch sandwiches to go with drinks for 4 days.

Excellent hotel condition
I stayed two hotels in Frankfurt durng my trip. Savoy Hotel Frankfurt (4 stars) and Golden Leve Hotel Frtankfurt. I found that the conditiuon of Golden Leave Hotel was much better than that of Savoy Hotel. Dont be fooled by hotel star ratings.
You can cook breakfast for your family and the hotel is very quite.

Decent room for the price
As previous reviews state, the pillows were thin, but the room itself was comfortable. It was clean and roomy enough. It was outside the city central, but having a metro/bus stop close was very convenient.

No Frills
This is a cheap, no frills hotel. If price is a factor, then its not a bad find. The staff is ok, sometimes indifferent! The rooms are big for a european hotel. However, they dont seem to invest much in pillows. Our room was clean. They do have a parking lot on the premise.

Good Buy In Frankfurt
I recently stayed here for three nights and left generally satisfied. The room and bathroom were reasonably clean. The rooms television had two English language channels. The hotel is about one block from the street train that goes to the city center of Frankfurt. There are not many places to eat or shop in the immediate vicinity of the hotel. There is a nice sauna on the lower level. The pillow was far too flimsy for my American taste. The room had a small kitchenette with eating utensils.
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
You can buy an all day pass on the Frankfurt public transportation system that allows for unlimited rides on the subways, busses and street trains for a given day. The day pass is called "tageskarte" and the price was about six euros.

great location
very conveniently located one block away from a street train stop, the buffet breakfast is awesome and with a great variety of juices, fruits, breads, cheeses, hot dishes and more...but I wrongly thought it was included in my hotel rate, they charged me 12 euros per person for this breakfast buffet.

loud, uncomfortable.
The staff was indifferent at best, just doing the bare minimum. The pillows in this hotel were horrible, like sleeping on a folded sheet. When I mentioned it to them, instead of getting me a decent pillow, they game me another pillow that was equally bad. If you have to stay here, dont stay on the side of the railroad tracks, itll keep you up all night. Also got bitten by bed bugs, and my remote didnt work.

Nothing Extrordinary, but nice enough
The room was clean, and surprisingly large. The bed was not the most comfortable, but it was ok. The staff was very helpful and friendly. It is a little off the beaten path, but in a quiet part of town.

good for the price
The only bad points were that in my single room there was no bath, only a shower (albeit a nice one). It did not appear that there was air conditioning, at least i couldnt find any controls to cool the room down and there are train tracks a couple of hundred meters away which have noisy freight trains running at odd hours of the night. Not so bad with the windows closed but when you have to leave them open to cool the room its too noisy.

Convenient in Frankfurt
We stay here several times a year. The staff is always friendly, the rooms are clean, have kitchenetts, and they have non-smoking floors where all of the rooms are non-smoking. In addition, the street car stops just a block away. There is a very good Italian restaurant located in the hotel. Also, it is very easy to walk to many areas of the city if you want.
Traveler's tip on dining
We used to live in Frankfurt and have a few favorite restaurants: Edelweiss on Schweizer Strasse 96 Tel 0 69/619696 (great Cech beer!) Apfelwein Klaus on Meisengasse 10: old style apple wine house, less expensive and good basic food. Tel 0 69/ 282864

Affordable and well located
The room was nice and good sized. The tiny kitchen had a refrigerator, 2-burner stove, dishes, silverware, the basics. The location, one half a block from the trolly stop for Line 11, provided easy access to downtown, the U-bahn and S-bahn. It was easy to get around as the trolly runs every 10 minutes. I was on the railyard side of the building sleeping with the window open and while there was some noise it didnt bother me. For the value and quality of the room I was extremely satisfied. I didnt really cook that much. There are supermarkets and take-out places near by and we found the little Italian place between the trolly stop and the corner had great food (Gnnochi Gorgonzola = great). And a door or two away there was a Bakery (breakfast). With what I saved on food and the reasonable rate for he hotel I would have to say this is a fantastic idea. I would definately look here when I come back. Internet access (swisscom) is very expensive. PPV movies are automatic if you just select one of the PPV channels (be careful). Telephone may be a better deal than using a cell phone in Europe read the information in the room. It only takes 10 minutes to get to the old town on the trolly. National car rental is near by if you want to rent a car for a day trip.
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
If you are going to the museums get a Frankfurt Card at the Tourist Office (at Rome - old central Frankfurt square) 2 day -gets travel on S-bahn, U-bahn, trollly, bus and 50% off at most museums, for 12 Euros. Public transportation ticket machine - Einefart = one ride, Tageskarte = day pass. For a group of up to 5 you can use the Gruppentageskarte Frankfurt = Gourp Day Pass, Grupentageskate Frankfurt incl Flughafen (little picture of an airplane).

Dont stay there!
We drove to this hotel and couldnt find it. We called the front desk and no one could explain to us where it was located, and I am fluent in german, french and english! When we finally got there, the lobby was stinking as everybody was smoking. There was no one to help me with the lugagge (I was travelling with my one year old daughter), the room wasnt vacuumed and when I turn the fan on in the bathroom, the air that came in was from the top floor which was a smoking floor, and all the stank came in the room. I do not recommand the restaurant either, the waiter was from Italy and that was the only language he spoke. Be careful, three leafs does not mean 3 stars, even if the price we paid was the one you would expect from a 3 stars.

Great hotel at a great price!!!
Very clean and relatively inexpensive compared to others in the area. Close to the rails and trains. I received excellent service and they even had a free shoe shining machine.

Modern Cool Hotel, a bit off the beaten path
This is an up to date, German, modern hotel with a design sense. Staff was friendly, with more than adequate language skills. It is bit off the beaten path, but with good tram service, once you figure the system out. Breakfast was not included, but it might be worth the extra price in terms of the offerings that were laid out. Rooms were clean, new, well designed. Internet wireless service is available for purchase at very high rates, there may have been internet cafes close by, but I couldnt find them. Food was better downtown; local establishments were modest- which may or may not be a good/bad thing.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
Art Museums worth the time and effort.
