Fantastic Service
This hotel had lots of great complimentary services. the clerks at the front desk.were tremendously kind and helpful. They gave us referrals and directions to restaurants and shops. We had a rented car but didn’t want to drive or park in DC. We didn’t have to because they have a complimentary shuttle to and from the Metro station. They have coffee and a water bottle in the room and coffee and tea in the lobby. They have free USA Today papers. We stayed in a single room with a king bed that was huge and very comfortable. The flat screen TV with a swivel stand can be aimed anywhere in the room. We didn’t have a laptop and we needed to keep in touch with a mechanic that was working on our Alfa in Italy and they have free computer terminals everywhere-very convenient. The pool room gets the morning sun and is beautiful.We saw where other reviews wrote about construction noise but we heard nothing on the eleventh floor. We are extremely pleased with our 5 day stay and will definitely stay there again.
All the clue’s written about in a certain top seller . They can be found at the National Library Congress and the Capital Building which are connected by a large tunnel.

Pleasant Times
I arrived with the start of a head cold and ended up the rest of the day/nt and entire next day/nt "confined" to my room so I can expertly say the room was clean and comfortable, bed was soft but not too soft, pillows were plump but not too plump, flat screen tv had nice array of channels, and the free internet was a blessing. Room service was quick and food was good. Staff were friendly and even the shuttle service guy didn’t mind going to local store for some cold meds for me.

Free shuttle to the metro was great, galleria mall and dining across the street was so convenient.
