Fantastic Service in Quiet Location
We were treated like royalty at the Hotel La Mansion Del Sol. The room was clean, comfortable, and had every amenity we wanted. I loved the quiet location, just a short distance away from the Del Sol Mall.

One of the 3 best I ever stayed
Stayed here for 3 nights while I had day surgery at a nearby hospital to repair a hernia. Atmosphere is wonderful, room huge and very clean with wi-fi, A/C, TV and stereo. Breakfast buffet very nice, the restaurant in general is way above average. One of the best filets I’ve had with a great mushroom sauce. The chicken with a green sauce was very tasty and the evening desserts with coffee were super. The overall atmosphere compares very well to a certain hotel in Kuta Beach, Bali and also the oldest hotel in Yellowstone Park. (there, I didn’t name any other hotels). If in Guadalajara, do yourself a big favor and stay here. You won’t be disappointed!
Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay
Don’t fool around with buses. Taxis in Mexico are cheap. If you don’t speak Spanish ask someone in the hotel to negotiate your fare with the driver. I didn’t on purpose to see how honest they are and a 25 minute ride to the hospital cost 60 pesos ($4.50 at the current rate). Don’t miss Tonala, Tlaquepaque, the market at San Juan de Dios and believe it or not, the zoo!

Clean, Comfortable, Quaint
This is a gem of a hotel. The rooms are clean, the decor is nice, the service is good.
