hotel location was good close to lots of good restaurants and subway. the room was big enough, but beds are too old. good size bathroom.
Traveler's tip
for those catholics there is a japanese spoken catholic church just across from the hotel (less than 5 minutes walk) with daily masses. once a month there is an english mass. i forget which week (sorry).

Great price, excellent room and excellent service
Our room got upgraded to a deluxe double room when we check in, it is huge! (PS: According to Japan standard). Like 60sqt m. Very nice and neat room. The service was excellent too, very friendly staff. I was asking for some information that they didn’t know, they would go on internet and search for me! The only cons are: It is kind of a walk from the shinagawa station, and uphill. So after a long day travel, it’s a bit tiring to walk for another 10mins (I am a slow walker though) uphill; Another cons, internet access is not free in the room. There is a business center open in day time though if you need free access, but no WIFI.
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
Be careful when you are booking the hotel, there are 5 different Prince hotels in Shinagawa with slightly different name. Some of them are known to be old and with bad conditions.
