I was very disappointed. If you are staying in this hotel, be prepared to pay for every step you make. You have to pay for pool chairs. I have stayed in many different hotels in the area, never did I have to pay for pool chairs. Beach chairs are the same price, plus you would not get your beach umbrella simply because they don’t have it even if you are willing to pay a few extra dollars for it. You can get beach cabana (which consists of 2 non-detachable beach chairs) for not really a reasonable price that actually does come with umbrella. Continental breakfast is terrible, you don’t get much choice. Again, I stayed in other hotels that provided continental breakfast as well, but this hotel does not even compare. Parking is another thing. They charge you good money a day for parking. You get your valet parking service until 11pm and then you have to park your own car and still pay the same amount per day. I would never come back to this hotel ever again. The only two positive things were the room itself and the maid service. Other than that, it was unexpectedly terrible.

ATired Old Hotel With Classic Miami Beach Charm
Since the Sheraton Bal Harbour next door was demolished to make way for another condo, this is currently 1 of 2 options in Bal Harbour.(The other is a brand new & very pricey high rise) The facility is old but with all of the 1950’s charm of classic Miami Beach. We were there off-season (priced accordingly)and the staff was skeletal - no room service. The outdoor pool deck is spacious, with lots of private cabanas. Lounge chairs are provided on the narrow but private beach. Room was spacious but was not upgraded in years. You get the feeling that another new condo will be coming soon....
