Decent place to stay
Hotel is pretty standard. Breakfast was good enough. Gym was sad. Room was clean and comfortable. Place was close enough to shopping and attractions. Walking distance to family restaurants (Chili’s, Applebees). If your looking for a simple family place to stay, this is a good choice.

Is Non Smoking Room only a suggestion? Wireless Internet? Lobby ONLY
I stayed at this hotel for business for one night only (thankfully). I first want to state that the staff was very polite and helpful. However, upon checking into my non smoking room, I found it reaking of smoke. I went back to the front desk and they assigned me another room, which only slightly smelled of smoke. At this point, the lobby was infested with middle school aged kids and I decided to stay put. Also found some funky stains on the desk chair - I had to spread towels. I found that the wireless internet is only available in the lobby. There was a cable at the desk, but it did not provide a connection. Plenty of hotels in Williamsburg, no need to go back here.

Absolutely Sufficient
If you just need to "get the job done", this is a fine place to stay. Not fancy, but neither is it dumpy. Completely average in every way. Close to tourist area, near chain restaurants, gas stations and shops.

Busch Gardens and Colonial Williamsburg are within a mile or so. Great place to stay to visit William & Mary

Excellent Stay
Springhill proved to be an excellent hotel. Large, clean room with room for 5. Hotel location is next to resturants and close to historical area.

there must be better choices on the same road
An ok place, but there must be much better values on the same road, since there are a ton of places. "Suite" is a rather generous term for a room that is a bit larger than a typical non-urban hotel room, with a partial divider between the bed area and the sitting area. The breakfast that some reviewers really liked struck me as no better than the muffins and coffee at a mid-quality motel. There was more variety, but the quality was uniformly bad. I really wish I had saved $50/night and just stayed at an Econolodge or something similar.

Will stay again
We arrived shortly before 11am and were told no rooms were yet available. Well before check-in on a holiday weekend I wasn’t shocked. The front desk took my cell to notify me when the room would be ready. Less than the time it took to walk back to the car the attendant came running out to notify me that a room was ready. It was very clean, and family friendly.

Great Place to stay!
Staff was awesome, very friendly and went out of their way for us!! Rooms were spacious, comfortable and very clean. Our kids loved the pool and the hot tub was great as well. Breakfast was great for a hotel free breakfast including made to order waffles. The kids even got chocholate chip waffles!!

A Good Deal
Myself and my girlfriend stayed at the Marriott for two nights for New Year’s. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the room was clean and neat, and the hotel itself was conveniently located. There’s a Chili’s right in front of the hotel so we could walk there for a few adult beverages. There were no major complaints with this hotel except that the pillows in our room we kind of lumpy. The free breakfast was quite good but it was also a zoo! People were circling the waffle makers like hungry vultures. There were a lot of people in the breakfast room the one morning we went and the cook could not keep up! Other than those two things, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Great Experience
My wife and I stayed at the hotel for one night. The staff was friendly, though the front desk looked a little dusty as I viewed the whole set up. However, the room was clean and breakfast was great too. OVERALL very GOOD! I would recommend anyone to stay at the hotel.

Good, clean hotel
Our room was clean and well appointed with a microwave, refrigerator and coffeemaker. Beds were a little too squishy, but were generally comfortable. The "exercise" room had four fairly cheap pieces (only 1 treadmill). The breakfast was good (especially the wafflemakers), though it was a bit hard to find a place to sit since it was a weekend. Service was very responsive to our needs (new iron, towels, etc.)

Great Hotel for Famillies
This is a very family friendly hotel. It is close to several well-known restaurants, and Colonial Williamsburg. It easily accommodated a family of five. The continental breakfast was great. My husband and I were very happy, as were the kids.

Clean and comfy
We stayed at this hotel with our three children. The rooms were spacious and clean. The beds were comfortable. The breakfast was very good, but I recommend getting there early for the best selection. My only complaint is that the pool was on the small side. Otherwise, very nice!

One of Williamsburg’s best
Several couples had rooms/suites for New Years celebration. Hotel is centrally located for restaurants, and all else offered in Williamsburg. Kichenette in suite. Excellent continental breakfast.
