A Very Pleasant Suprise
We stayed 5 enjoyable nights at this hotel. The restaurants were wonderful and very reasonably priced. Their breakfast buffet was fantastic! A real test for a restaurant is to order something that isn’t on the menu...we did this the first night in their North Indian Restaurant and we were very pleased with the results. The true essence of the place came directly from the staff. What a professional, happy group of people! We would definately stay again - and if this is a representation of other Taj properties, we were very impressed.

Take the complimentary harbor cruise when you arrive to get yourself oriented to the area - Also, use the hotel’s travel desk for expedition ideas and don’t be afraid to ask them for suggestions "beyond" the typical "outings", they are very willing to accomodate.

Excellent service, great location
We really liked the service at the hotel, and the complimentary boat tour of the harbor was wonderful. The breakfast was excellent as well. Our only complaint was that the room was quite small, but given the central location of the hotel, that’s not surprising. Overall, highly recommend this hotel.
