Excellent hotel. Top notch staff, very comfortable rooms, everyone spoke excellent English, good breakfast.

Best hotel for the price, would return again
Best location, confortable, clean, not a luxury hotel but great place to stay with a good price. 100% satisfied. Loved it.
Dont miss the Miguel Angelo park and the exhibits at Palazzo Strozzi near the hotel

Amazing hotel and location! Loved it!
The Hotel Balestri was excellent. The location was superb, just a couple of blocks from the Uffizi, Ponte Vecchio, Santa Croce and many of Florence’s sites. The hotel has a great breakfast and some amazing views. Rooms on the upper floors can see the Duomo and the Palazzo Vecchio from their windows. My wife and I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay in Florence.
Traveler's tip on dining
Try the Gelateria dei Neri, on the Via dei Neri just a block or two from the hotel. The gelato there is amazing. Also try Aqua al 2 for dinner, excellent food.
