Beautiful...Sicilian Style
I truly enjoyed my stay. The buffet breakfast was the best I experienced during my 9 day trip around Sicily. The room was very nice and clean. Staff was pleasant and helpful. I loved that I gave my car keys and didn’t have to think about it until departure at which time my car was waiting for me in 5 minutes. Great location to walk to the beach, some of the sites or catch transportation for tours. Beautiful roof top terrace. My only negative comment is that I could smell the oil cooking from the hotel restaurant. I was on the 4th floor, same as the restaurant, so this may have potentiated the smell however with it appears all the rooms have windows which open to a courtyard and thus the smells can freely move up or down to any floor.

Efficient valet parking, central location at 4 Canti, fine building well maintained, good breakfast. Recommendable.

Only great location
Great location, beautifull building, reception and rooms too dark, unclean rooms.... and if you plan to stay there during the summer, no AC, or at least one that works...

Great, if you want the old part of the city
The location is good if you want to stay in the older part of the city. The hotel is old, but well kept up. The knowledge of the people behind the desk regarding information about Palermo varies. One or two are excellent and the others need to learn more. If you don’t get the answer you want, try again. The Centrale’s sister hotel (less than 5 minutes down the street) has a great roof top bar. Breakfast is good.

Hard beds! Bad view. Terrible reading lights. Strange layout. Hotel was clean, in good condition, and had a very friendly helpful staff.
