Incredible Value--Exceptional Hotel
The hotel is an elegant old hotel restored in the "right" way. Absolutely gorgeous. The staff is helpful and friendly, and it is a 5 minute walk from the hotel to the main square (Cloth Hall). Unfortunately, our early departing flight did not give us an opportunity to sample the breakfast, but I bet it is fantastic too. I cant imagine going back to Krakow and not staying here. A+++ all the way.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
Plan to spend as much time as you can on the square people watching and enjoying some really great food at any of several restaurants.

Would recomment it to my friends!
We only spent one night there, but wished it was more. We had two regular rooms reserved via Expedia at a very reasonable price, and when we got there they upgraded us to two suites which were quite oppulent. The hotel is located in the Old City, a short walk to the Main Square and all the attractions Krakow has to offer. The hotel itself is charmingly old and very well maintained. There is a lot of very good restaurants within a short walking distance. The staff was very helpful. They took care of booking our taxi for the next morning ride to the airport and a big Mercedes was already waiting for us when we came down. It took only 15 min to get to the airport (granted, it was a holiday and 5:30 AM, but still...). BTW, if youre traveling by car check with the front desk how to get there. As far as I can tell no private automobiles are allowed in that part of town. Only taxis.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
Right across the street from the hotel is the Czartoryski museum; well worth a visit. Also, visit Colegium Maius!!!

Well located
The hotel is a lovely old establishment and is very well located. Beware that the rooms are not airconditioned This was OK for us in May with the windows open, but in the heat of the summer, it may be an issue. The "apartments" in the hotel are airconditioned.
