Very handy location.
I was traveling by train and this hotel was very close to central station; downtown, the ferry, and buses, and restaurants. Everything was good.

Excellent value
Located conveniently a block from the main train station. Easy access to the airport via the fast train. Short walk to the harbor or downtown. Very helpful staff. Good buffet breakfast. Two free Internet terminals in the lobby. One block from the spectacular Opera House. Saw a number of "colorful" people around the train station, but had no problem with them.
Good (but expensive) dinner at "Mr. India"in the same block Good (and less expensive) dinner at "Nilsen Spiseri" in the next block. Buying an OsloPass is a good value (NOK 410, about US$ 66 for 72 hours of unlimited bus, train, ferry, and most museum fees).

Good Location
This hotel was a nice location for us as we did not have a car and it is just around the corner a couple of blocks from the train station. We walked everywhere from here and found it to be a resonably priced and adequate for our needs. The breakfast in the morning was nice and they had complimentary Internet as well in the lobby.
