Cant wait to go back to Puerto Rico

The convenience of the hotel being in close proximity to areas of interest to me (shopping) was very important to me and my party; and at the same time there was sufficient privacy if we wanted to just stay at the hotel and enjoy what it had to offer. It is a beautiful place. It reminds me of the Embassy Suites in Texas where I stayed during the summer. I will definitely stay at the P.R Embassy on my next trip to Puerto Rico.

Might Go Back again

Main problems - bedding had bedbugs! They took care of it right away which was good. Remote didn’t work, tub faucet fell off. More care needed in the hotel section. With all of the money the Hilton’s have and the spaciousness of the suites, just a bit more upgrades would move this hotel from a 2-3 star to a 3-4 star. the staff was great in accomodiating to the issues we had during our stay. Also should consider a weekend band and dancing in the lobby such as the Marriott Courtyard had, we went there and to the old san juan for entertainment.

Very Impressed

This hotel is located about 5 minutes from the airport and about 10 to the cruise pier. The breakfast was very nice, a full buffet with eggs cooked to order. We couldn’t have asked for a nicer room. When we arrived about 12:30 we wondered if we would have to wait for our room. It was ready immediately. There is a Burger King and other fast food places within just a few blocks and Walgreens to. The beach is about a two block walk. Didn’t have any concerns about walking anywhere. The happy hour only consisted of popcorn and a couple of snacks. We don’t drink so we got a coke. It wasn’t crowded at all, but this was a Sunday night. We had express check out, a taxi immediately to the pier, 20.00 and 1.00 a bag. This is where we will stay if we return for another cruise. It is a beautiful hotel, what more could you ask for. The RESORT FEE WAS INCLUDED HERE!!

When we returned from our cruise, we went to the rain forrest. It is beautiful and a lot to see. You need several hours. Our cruise tour left at 8:45 and we returned to the airport at 3:10. By the time we got to the gate within 5 minutes we were boarding, 4:00. Give yourself plenty of time it is a wonderful place to see. We didn’t need a raincoat but be sure and take something just in case. It can be all sun in the city and get a shower up there. It is the best rain forrest we saw in the last two weeks and we went to many on a two week cruise. San Juan is a place you would want to stay a couple of days extra for sure. We love it there.
