Excellent place to stay!
Although off the beaten path, this hotel is easily accessible. We took a tour of Boston with the bus picking us up at the hotel doorstep. We had to get back on the T which was not hard. Also, the T station for getting off is close and when we missed our ride back via the hotel shuttle, a cab ride was a mere $5.00. Maria at the front desk was especially helpful. What great service! She was helped by a young man, whose name I did not get, who was also helpful. The breakfast was wonderful. There was plenty to eat and of good quality. The little gal who kept the breakfast room clean and resupplied was a real jewel and a hard worker. Overall, I’’d recommend this hotel to my friends without any reservations.

Not Impressed
The common area had accumulated dust on the baseboards. The hallway needed to be vaccumed along the edges. The carpet in the room was very soiled and needed a good cleaning. The furniture in the breakfast room is in need of repair to stablize the tables. The trash bins in that room were filled up and not emptied, so there was no place to put the trash.The general condition of the hotel could have been better with more attention to detail cleaning. There were foreign newpapers for sale on the front counter, but there was no Boston Globe or USA Today that could be seen. After this experience, I would not choose to stay in this hotel again.
