Close to airport
Picked because it is close to the airport. Converted to a hotel from a farmhouse and barn, it has an agrarian charm and is out in the open. Within walking distance of the village with two restaurants. Used by business travelers.

I would return to this hotel.
The hotel front desk personnel were very helpful, personable and showed an interest in us being satisfied. When we asked, they provided recommendations for restaurants which were exactly as they described in regards to food and price. All of the employees of this hotel went out of their way to accomodate us. The morning breakfast which was included, was good and varied. It was not the most lavish but the four people in my party were all content. There was an abundance of food. We could eat healthy and for the picky eaters there was always something they would be happy eating. We all left satisfied with the meals. If I were to return to Venice, this is definately a hotel I would return to. I felt the price was very reasonable.

Bisanzio Hotel in Venice
Well located on a quiet alley but near the Grand Canal and water bus as well as St. Marks square. Rooms were beautiful and very comfortable. We stayed twice, first in a family room with 2 bedrooms and space for 4 people to sleep in comfort. Second stay in a double room that had a huge bathroom and was beautifully decorated. Front desk staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great and the cappucino very tasty!
Traveler's tip on dining
Ristorante Trattoria Povoledo near the Venice train station. We found this great restaurant with a terrace on the Grand Canal and reasonably priced, tasty food. The waiters were great and very friendly and spoke enough English that we were understood with ease. Loved the house white wine (a Tokai) and the iced coffee was a rare find in Italy. Highly recommend this restaurant. Also lots of places to shop nearby on Terrazza sul Canal Grande
