Rotorua Escapade
We were very pleased with the Novotel and it’s location. It was only a few mintues walk to both the and the local cafes. They were all great. Had a wonderful stay. The pools were great too.

Good pick!!
Excellent choice. Hotel is very well located, close to restaurants and Rorotua Information Center from where you can get orientation and buy tickets for basically all Kiwi atractions. Room is very confort and clean and staff always very helpful when requested.

Good hotel and great location, at a great price
We stayed during off-season, hence the great deal we got. Things did seems a little ’off-season’ within the hotel too though - our room was not as clean as I would expect from a Novotel, and the staff seemed not to be quite as on the ball as you’d expect. All in all, though a good stay and we would happily go back.

Very comfortable
While not the most luxurious hotel I have ever enjoyed, the Novotel in Rotorua was clean, very comfortable, well appointed, had all of the usual amenities, and was beautifully situated. The staff was friendly and helpful, and they looked to ensure the comfort of guests (me) who were not part of any of the groups who were staying there. Computer access in the lobby and the availability of laundry machines was also a definite plus.
Traveler's tip on dining
Try the Lime Cafeteria, across the park from the hotel, for great coffee, breakfasts, and lunch.
