Good for the price.
The plus side is location, attractive lobby, business center, good restaurant, easy to find free parking, and indoor pool/jacuzzi. The room size is good, beds were comfortable. The down side is the rooms are getting a little worn (carpet, etc.). At the price, I would not complain as all pluses overcome it. If they raise the price, then I would reconsider. But still hard to beat location. So much to see and do within walking distance. Great restaurants close by.
I grew up in Springfield and remember Mauldiner’s Restaurant and wanted to revisit. My husband was so/so about the idea and wanted to try the sports bar across the street. I won out and we walked to Mauldiners, just 2 blocks from the hotel. It was great and my husband raved about it for a long time afterward. Very reasonable. We shared 4 appetizers and ordered a dessert. I think we had one coffee or one beer. Bill was under $50. Great food, good service and nice atmosphere.

Great Overnight
This is an old, but comfortable hotel. Everything works, and the breakfast wait staff is the best! It’s a great place to stay if you want to do the Lincoln Museum and Library.
