CRAMPED
This hotel is in an older building with very narrow hallways. It is in a noisy area of the city and hard to sleep with the commotion going on outside. Internet service is expensive, no breakfast available, but numerous restaurants within walking distance.

great location at reasonable price
We really enjoyed being able to walk to many of the areas in Sydney. The hotel staff was very pleasant. While the room was small, it was clean, comfortable and had a terrific view overlooking a park. Negatives: There is no real lobby and there are only 2 elevators for the hotel part of the building, one of which is shared with the residence portion (hotel is first 15 floors, building is 45 floors), thus the wait for an elevator can be long.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
We walked to the wonderful aquarium and the National Maritime museum which we found to be very interesting (free tours too). We also walked to The Rocks area and the Sydney Opera House. The State Library,within walking distance, has free internet for 20 minutes to check your e-mails.
