good location
Staying with a family of 4 (2 adults, 2 teenagers), rooms and beds small but o.k., nice bath (very small), all very clean. Breakfast o.k., although 1st time to see a paper alongside the buffet with the individual breakfast allowances of bagel etc., coffee free and good. Hotel is about 10 min walking time from T-Station Quincy North with good connections to downtown Boston, also offers shuttle to this station. 10 min by car to Quincy marina with excellent restaurants with a view on the Boston skyline. Good value for money

my visit at Adams inn Location Quincy Mass. Was not as good as advertized,
the room was not to my expectations, my bed was 1/2 made, plus the cover on the bed was dirty, they should change covers after someone uses it. send a rep. or secret shopper to check this out. when trying to use computer in loby, the keys were worn out,so you had to guess & retry. the breakfast was very good and the eating area was clean, but should have another area because it is a bar in the evening.
Traveler's tip
try to make sure that the room is inspected before checking in.or check it out after regestration. if not clean enough, go to front desk and ask for a new room or a refund.

Too Far Away From T Stop to walk, but a good value just the same
Having come into Boston without a car, by using the nearby T service, I thought that the Adams Inn would be a little closer to the North Quincy stop, but it was at least what seemed to be about half a mile away, which was made more difficult by the hostile nature of the sidewalks. Had I not brought rolling luggage maybe it wouldnt have been so bad. But the Adams Inn was perfectly fine, I cant complain about the place. It also had an on premises restaurant, so I didnt need to grab a cab later on. The next morning I took a short cab ride back to where I had to go, and then got a ride back to Boston to go home.
Traveler's tip for business travelers
If you need to stay at the Adams, either rent a car at one of the agencies near Copley Square, which is convenient to Amtraks Back Bay Station. South Station doesnt seem to have anything close. Otherwise take a cab to the Adams, or ride the T (the Red Line I think) to North Qunicy and bear the brunt of walking.
