Great location but mixed blessing
Upsides: Great location. Splendid view from our park-facing room. Confortable beds. Friendly staff. Good wireless internet. Downsides: Damp carpet upon arrival (took several days to dry out). Poor TV reception (but we weren’t visiting Paris to watch TV). A bathroom overdue for renovation. Somewhat overpriced, but that’s Paris! Conclusion: Hotel Brighton provided a ringside seat in one of the world’s greatest cities, so the minor problems encountered we could live with.

Almost everything that makes Paris the wonderful place it is can be found nearby...or is easily accessed via the Metro station close to Hotel Brighton.

Great location, great service, very clean,near shops and attractions.If continental breakfast was included, it would be perfect.

Excellent Hotel!!
We highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Paris. The staff was wonderful and the hotel is very nice. If you can afford the upgrade - the rooms with a view of the Jardin and Louvre are very nice. The standard rooms are also nice.
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
Our recommendation is to ask for tap water instead of Evian. You will pay $10 - $12 US dollars for a liter of Evian at a restaurant. If you want a carafe of water (free) - simply ask for a Carafe d’eau. Also - take a tour bus...it was inexpensive and took us to all the major tourist attractions (we actually booked it on Expedia - it’s the red tour bus). Happy Travels!
