Pan Pacific a nice layover
I was very satisfied with the hotel service and room. The staff were expecting me and had a golf cart ready to take me to the hotel. I had an early morning flight and check out and shuttle back to the airport was fast. The only downside is that you have to clear immigration and customs as the hotel is not actually in the airport terminal.

There is another hotel in the airport which would have been a better choice for my schedule.

Typical airport hotel
The hotel is excellent, but there is nothing to do or see around it. I recommend it for travellers who arrive very late at or leave very early from Kuala Lumpur International Airport.

Don’t expect a taxi back to the airport!
There is nothing wrong with the hotel as such. And as it’s the only airport hotel (if you don’t count the budget chain Tune) it’s the only place to stay. But beware, once you’ve caught a cab to the hotel (it is not attached to the aiport) you can’t get a taxi back! For some bizarre reason, the "system" does not allow this to happen unless you are in the know and book a taxi at the aiport for your return journey. My only alternative when arriving at 1am and needing to return for a 0730 flight was to take the hotel’s limo at more than double the cost of a taxi. The hotel’s shuttle bus seemed to run every 2 hours.
