Great Place to stay
The location is great. The Capital City Bike Trail is right by the hotel, so a great place if you are biking the trails of Madison. Lots of restaurants close by. The room was big, clean and quiet. We will definetly stay again.

We would definitely stay here again
This is a great hotel just south of Madison. Nothing is too far away. The complimentary breakfast was very ample providing everything from cereal to eggs to waffles. They had excellent fresh coffee available all day and evening. The room was very clean, the mattress was very comfortable, and the staff was very friendly and helpful with questions about the area. There is some shopping within easy walking distance, with the pharmacy being especially appreciated with all the airline restrictions about what you can have in take-on luggage. Even though this hotel is right off a highway, there was no traffic noise due to the way the hotel is situated. Highly recommended.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
Cave of the Mounds was very interesting. Wisconsin Dells is a must if you are traveling with children. Mount Horab Mustard Museum is a quirky place as is the town with its Trolls.
