We had a blast!
WE have three kids;11,8,6, and they had a blast. The water park was not crowded, infact the kids could just walk onto any slide. We were there on a Monday - Wednesday trip. The room was big, beds comfortable, and it was quiet. The room was a little musty when we first got there, but he air conditioning took care of that. In all, we had a great time and will stop there again!
Traveler's tip on local attractions
We spent an entire day at Mall of America. The kids loved the Lego Store and the rides. They had a Sponge Bob them in the amusement park that was cool! The ffod courts are resonably priced and there is just so much to see!

Will stay again
Clean, quiet hotel. Reasonable rates. Nearby stores and resturants. Waterpark smaller than most, but lots of fun. A+++

Waterpark is ok.
This is a weekend destination hotel for many schools and other field trips. The waterpark attracted many guests Friday and Saturday. That said, expect a lot of kids running up and down the halls at late hours of the night. Hotel should probably beef up security as police were called at one point b/c of the rowdy nature of one group. Beds were very hard. Housekeeping was spotty. Came early in the morning one day, didnt come until late afternoon another. Made it difficult with our child who took a nap during the afternoon. The waterpark was ok, but for somebody like me from the South, it was pretty cold to get in water in a 70-something degree room. Waterpark discount is good for staying at the hotel, but there are many better hotels nearby that offer better comfort.
Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay
Stay during the middle of the week if possible at the hotel was virtually dead. Also, there is a free breakfast during the week (jumps to $10 per person on Friday-Sunday).
