Pleasant Surprise
This was the first stop on my visit to Germany, Italy & France. After reading dozens of reviews of even more hotels, I booked the first & last night of my stay in Germany at the Hotel Flora. In between my daughter & I were traveling around Europe. I was not dissapointed in my choice. After traveling for 16 hours I was greeted by a friendly staff who spoke great English. It was only about a 5 minute walk from the U bahn, even pulling my luggage!. This provided easy access to all of Stuttgart & surrounding areas & connection to the main train terminal & airport for traveling further. I had only planned to leave my luggage until check in time, but the room was ready & I was able to check in by noon. The room & bathroom was typical size by US standards, very comfortable & clean. The shower was slightly small & they do not provide washcloths, only towels. There is a hair dryer already in the room. I would definitely stay here again.

close to Stuttgart airport
Although, it was a little difficult to find my family of eight was pleased with this roomy, clean, friendly, hotel. It was our last night in Germany after a 2 week vacation. We needed to be near the airport for an early flight home. Staff recommended a friendly local bar for the men, and a great local restaurant for all of us.
