good for the price....would come back again
this hotel would suit a family or group whos on a budget. your basics are covered, it is clean and actually more spacious than what i expected. it is also pretty close to the border and to downtown vancouver with free parking nonetheless. no reason to stay in downtown where you have to fight for parking and have to pay for it too. over all, i would recommend it to others and i actually wont mind staying there again if i ever go visit vancouver again.
must see: capilano suspension bridge, grouse mountain, stanley park, granville island and chinatown. if you have a little bit of extra time and theres nothing else you can do, maybe see sun yat sen park - a little zen park - after having lunch in chinatown. rental car is a must if you want to see a lot of sights and you have limited time in your hands or you have little children in tow.

Whew!
My husband and I decided to take our 3 children on a last minute day trip to Vancouver (we are from Seattle). After a long wait at the border, we spent most of the day sight seeing and didnt want to leave by the end of the day. We loved what we saw and decided to stay overnight. Trying to book a last minute hotel was quite an ordeal and took about 4 total hours. After all the chaos, we managed to get to the hotel. The hotel is located in a quiet neighborhood with lots of parking. The actually had secured underground parking. The hotel is clean, the room are spacious, the beds are comfy and they also have free wi-fi. One thing I did notice is that noise levels were pretty high. We stayed on the first floor and I heard people dinning at the restaurant and people checking in. Unfortunately the hotel charged our credit card twice the amount I booked it for and it took a serious phone call to the mananger and 5 days to return the funds. I would recommend this hotel if you are on a budget. The hotel is only 20 minutes from all the local attractions and is just minutes away from the Skytrain.

generally speaking, a good hotle and price is reasonable
but there were two problems we had. first, the window of the room we had is direct to west, it is hot in the afternoon even in mid-sept. but air conditioning works good. second, room services could not be done early. One day we got back to the hotel in 5PM, but room service had not be done yet. others are good.
