Great Time
The hotel for the price is great. Rooms were clean. The staff was great and keep you entertained. The entertainment at night put on by the staff was great. The food was good. I am planning on going back again and will stay at the Fun Royale Beach Resort
Traveler's tip
The hotel is near a shopping area. It is a 5-10 minute walk. The beach is less than 5 minute walk, but the hotel provides transportation. If you are planning to go to Puerto Plata I would rent a car. It is the same price as a taxi and yoou can go other places or stop in other little towns on your way.

NEVER AGAIN
This hotel is a 7 minute walk to the beach. The rooms are not clean. I don’t need nice decorations but there were cracks in the wall, the lighting in the room was so bad that after sunset you couldn’t see anything. There were no remote controls for the TV. The food was terrible - we paid for all inclusive but ate out for most meals. The only positive was the unlimited el presidente. The hotel was mostly English and Canadian who bathed topless.
