When visiting Singapore I will again stay at this hotel!
This hotel was very affordable, in a great location and the staff were top notch! Oustanding customer service and willing to assist.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
Dont buy the attractions through the hotel. They will tell you it is better because of transportation cost, but take MRT and the bus, avoiding taxis and save a ton.

2 nights at the Kings
Hotel staff friendly and amenable. There is a good FREE shuttle bus service into one of the the main shopping areas The hotel has a buffet offering a good selection of oriental based foods and is reasonably priced. Breakfast is not top grade but is adequate and not a bad way to start the day.
Traveler's tip on shopping
Get on the free shuttle to get into main shopping areas and make sure you visit the Singapore Tourist office located where the bus drops you off-they will give you good tips as to how not to get ripped off with non-genuine products etc

Loved it
My husband and I stayed here for three nights for our 2nd anniversary. I miss it as we speak. We didnt eat at the hotel because there are so many places to go on the outside, but the restaurant setup was nice. If you just want a drink or a snack, they have the bar downstairs if you want something exquisite, or if not you can run down to the seven eleven at the corner. They have a sit down area outside, right in the front of the hotel, where you can have your drink and relax. The bus stop is right out front or you can hop right in a taxi, also out front and go anywhere. Also, if you want to go to Sentosa Island, you can make arrangements at the front desk and a coach comes for you. I loved this hotel and the area. I absolutely recommend it to anyone. It was worth every cent.
Traveler's tip
Because the island is so accessible, just hop in a taxi. Its so easy to get from A to B, and its not expensive. Just know that at evening hours, about 5pm,the taxis charge a few cents more.
