Comfortable away from home
Each time I have stayed at the Hyatt Place it has been as comfortable as if I was staying at home. Service has been professional and very easy for checking in. The employees are pleasant and helpful. My room has always been clean, neat, in good repair and most of all quiet. This is a small hotel with not too much flair and over all has been enjoyable.
Traveler's tip on dining
There is an IHOP east of the hotel within walking distance that is open 24/7. Across I-10 to the North there is Bassett Place with a food court and a Taco Cabana that is also 24/7. If you are a late diner, these are the closest and most accessible places.

Would not go back
I didn’t like the way the bathroom vanity was directly across from the beds and not enclosed so that when I turn on the lights or hairdryer I wake up my husband. Should be layed out different. Old style air conditioner was to close to bed constantly blowing air right on me, can’t adjust vents. I would not stay there again.
