Nice place near MSU
Dropped off son at msu. Spacious room. Nice and quiet. Check out the "gym" across the street. It is massive, including a water park.
We ended up staying at a hotel near the airport for an early flight out. The work on the highway would have meant we would have missed our flight otherwise.

We will be back!
We loved our stay! We travel up to Lansing a few times a year to visit our daughter at Michigan State, and have been trying different hotels. We really enjoyed this one. The only thing I can think of that would make it any better would be an indoor pool. But when we’re there, we generally dont have time for a swim anyway. We may try a couple of other hotels out of curiousity, but we’ve found the one we think will be our base of operations for the next three years.
Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay
Since the room comes with a kitchen, complete with dishwasher, take advantage of how close you are to grocery and convenience stores. There’s a 24 hour grocery store 10 minutes away and convenience stores 5 minutes away. We didn’t eat out while we were there. And the Michigan State campus is only 5 minutes from your door.

Not bad, not great
Great hotels in Lansing are hard to come by unless you’re willing to pay a premium. This one wasn’t too bad, just some oddities like the position of the TV next to the right foot of the bed, no waste basket in the bathroom - just small discomforts. Hotel was fairly clean, the neighborhood consisted of bi-level doctors offices and campus across the main street. Overall it was an uneventful stay, but could have been worse!
