Castle Location
This hotel was quaint and very close to Stirling Castle. Good for one night stopover. Paper thin walls. GPS helpful in finding the hotel. Decent value.
Traveler's tip on dining
Great pub just down from the castle. Good food and atmosphere.

great last minute find
my trip was planned very late and there were few option in stirling...this one luckily was a GREAT find. Beautiful setting in an old school building. very pretty rooms with classic decor. very helpful staff. AMAZING breakfast offered. very good location for sightseeing in stirling
there is a ghost walk of sorts that i missed out on because i only discovered it after i had arrived. It looked very worthwhile and entertaining. Also at night, most of the bars in the town turn into dance clubs with kids anywhere from 14-20 desending on the town, this was around 8:30pm and at the point no longer enjoyed walking around the town for the evening.
