the best location in town
Hotel Bristol is extremely well located, near the train station, the lake, the old town, and the bridges crossing the Rhone. One could not choose a more convenient location. The hotel itself was comfortable with all amenities and a very friendly staff. Would absolutely return here on another Genevavisit.

Great hotel in Geneva
We stayed here for 5 days during a business trip/vacation to Geneva. The hotel was recommended to us by a co-worker who had stayed there. The location is ideal - right in the city center...steps from the lake and a short walk from the train station. The hotel is very well maintained. The room was extremely quiet, clean, and comfortable. The staff was very helpful even for those of us who can’t speak French well. Breakfast in the restaurant was convenient, but quite pricey. The hotel was also somewhat expensive, but that seems to be the norm for Geneva. We would definitely recommend the Hotel Bristol.

Like most European cities, the public transportation is top notch, and the buses, trams, and boats can get you all through the city and surrounding area quite well. The hotel also provides a public transportation pass for your entire stay, so it doesn’t cost you a thing to ride the public transportation. Don’t rent a car...use the great public transportation.
