Great Location
Walls are to thin and the doors make alot noise when shut. But you cant beat the location. Nothing like having a coffee outside St Pauls and listening to the bells. Tube station and Thames just 2 blocks away. We didnt eat at the hotel but there is a grocery store next door , which saved us a alot of money. This was the best value of any 4star hotel in Central London.
From the the City walk down the Embankment on each side of the Thames to Westminster. Its about Mile each way but is well worth it to view the city. London is a very walkable city so plan in advance each day the sites you want to visit. Take at least a day and visit some of the parks outside the city, like Heampstead Heath, Kew and Highgate. The major museums have extended hours on Thurs and Fri which frees up your days for the smaller historic sites. Before taking bus trips to other cities or historic sites compare the prices with British Rail. If you dont mind doing it alone you will save 50% by buying your own rail ticket and down loading maps on the internet.

Easy stay
This is an easy place to stay. It works well and the staff are intrusive. Having a Marks and Spencers Food store and a variety of coffee places on the next block makes managing a busy schedule easy.
