Very disappointed
First of all we had been confirmed by Expedia to have a non smoking room. On arrival to the hotel we were told that none of there rooms are non- smoking. The room smelled of cigarettes. The comforter and walls had tobacco stains and the bathroom was not clean and had mold everywhere. Poorly patched holes in the walls. This hotel should not be rated 3 stars. We actually visited two other hotels in Paris that were rated 3 stars and the difference was night and day. We were very disappointed.

A good deal
Hotel Marceau Champs Elysees is a good bargain for the location -- only a five minute walk to the famous boulevard. It’s not cheap but compared to other hotels in the area it was a deal. The rooms were tiny, but with nice bathrooms (marble). And there was smoke wafting in from neighboring rooms -- not surprising for Europe but still unpleasant.
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
Skip the hotel offered breakfast (12 Euro) and grab a croissant down the street or on the Champs Elysees. The hotel is silly for not including breakfast, would only make them a more popular dig.

Good for a short stay
I would recommend it for it’s excellent location and friendly staff, but the room was extremely small and so was the bed. The bathroom was ok, good size, but the shower as small as it is usually found in Europe
