The best place to stay in Manila.

Linden is by far the best place to stay in Manila. The breakfast is excellent. The rooms are very comfortable and clean. Housekeeping is readily available and also helpful. The security is excellent, they will question the cab driver and keep track of the cab you come and go in to make sure you are not taken advantage of. Also excellent location for shopping at the Mega Mall.

Not going to stay at Linden Suites anymore, I was a regular guest there almost every year but I wont be back.

Trip to Manila

We’ve booked a 3 bedroom room suite. Suite is spacious and clean. Our suite was facing the street and a little noisy at times. However, location is great. Mall, banks, etc are accessible.

My stay at the Linden Suites was relaxing even though it was my first time in Manila. I was impressed with the security, The staff, Access to services and the relaxing atmosphere of the room. I’ll definately be a regular visitor.

A fine place to stay

The hotel staff are some very attentive and friendly people. This hotel is an older hotel and the dacore shows some age, but it is clean and very comfortable. We stayed in a one bed room suit with all the room two people would need. The securety is tite and we had no prblem feeling save.Shoping is great because of two large malls very close by, one is in walking disdance. We would surely stay there again.

When the taxi drove to the hotel, I was not impressed by the outside. It looks like every other anonymous building in Manila. When I entered I was frisked and passed through security and forced to open my bags. I did not mind as I am used to the security in the Philippines. Other travellers might bristle. Check-in had a few hiccups since I booked two night separately to use two discount certificates. The desk straightened it out quickly and apologized for the trouble. Good thing I printed out my expedia.com confirmations! The Suite was AMAZING. It was on the 22nd floor. It was huge and spotless.Best suite I have had outside the US. My gf loved the cavernous bathroom and bathtub the most. I liked the full kitchen (with plates, silverware, etc.) and the view of Manila. If you stay here, go out the back way (door near the second tower elevators). It looks like a service entrance, but in the street behind the hotel there is a cheap internet cafe, a 7-11 and a pizza parlor. The prices are about 10% of those in the hotel. You will love this hotel. The buffet was included in my reservation. Fresh fruits, western style foods, and many filipino dishes. Amazing quality. They even let me in 30 minutes early since I had to get to the airport before it officially opened.

In the street behind the hotel there is the Serendipity Internet Cafe. When you exit the rear entrance of the hotel, turn right and walk past the 7-11. The cafe will be on your left. It is 30 pesos per hour to use the superfast internet. For comparision, the business center in the hotel will let you use the internet for 300 pesos an hour. There is also a nice pizza parlor near the internet cafe. Between the pizza and the 7-11 you can stock up on anything you need to eat when you are not in restaurants. The prices are really good. We got a large pizza with pepperoni (salami) and mushrooms for about 350 pesos...about $7 US. If you take a taxi to or from the hotel, make sure they use the meter. The driver will really push you for a flat fee, but do not give in. The lowest flat fee offer was 300 pesos. The while ride with a meter was 130 pesos. I dont mind them trying to make some money, but you are better off with the meter. Resist the urge to use the airport flat fee cab service. It sounds nice and convenient, but it is a HUGE rip-off. The fee for them hailing the cab is 70 pesos, more than 50% of the actual cost in a regular metered cab!!

was pretty much comfortable with this hotel

My stay at this hotel was comfortable.But i find it a bit hard to get to,but i guess once you get use to the traffic downtown its ok.Because the Philippines is a hot and humid country i was extremly hot and sweating as i was in their resturant for the free brunch,i did not feel they had air con on at that time.But service was good and i enjoyed the room.

My time at Linden Suites Manila

Overall during my stay at the Linden Suites was pleasurable experience. As with any hotel there are pros and cons. Thier pools need alittle up keeping but we enjoyed it just as well. There food is not good at all. Canned mushrooms? for a 4 star hotel...please. And very over priced for the quality of food they serve. My fiance and me enjoyed our room and over all services. I would stay there again and just eat out.

Stayed in 2 hotels during this trip and this one was 10 times better than the other.

Very clean and restaurant was decent. No complaints. Will stay there on any return trips.

Close to several shopping areas and Restaurants. Rooms, suites are very accomadating.

Nice location!

Nice location, comfortable suites and a safe place to stay. The hotel rate is reasonably priced and the hotel staff are very helpful too! A little refurbishing and attention to detail will give this hotel a fresh look. Once we go back to Manila, we will definite stay there again.

Good hotel

I had requested non smoking but when i arrived they had smoking for me and my wife and son once i told them of my request they put me in more expensive room but with no extra charge this is a classy hotel.

There are alot of fun family things to do in manila. Try manila bay cruise, mall of asia and manaila ocean park

Excellent suite and service!

We rented a 3-bedroom/2-bath suite and were pleasantly surprised at how spacious, clean and comfortable it was. The firmness of the beds were just right. It even had a great kitchen with a stocked fridge, huge dining area. We were able to entertain friends in our suite instead of having to drive out. The breakfast buffet which was included in the package was a good spread with enough selections. Service was great too from all the staff we came in contact with - at the desk, bellhops and the waiters in the restaurant.

Staying at a suite was definitely the way to go for a family instead of a cramped hotel room.

I was very impressed with this hotel right from the start. Great people great you, call you by name and do anything to help you. The room was very clean, upscale. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone, especially buisness travelers.

In central Makati

Great Place!

Great place, very clean, nice gym, superb staff. If you get hungry and want something different, walk next door to Rufos Tapas (open 24hrs) for some great take out eats. There is also a pizza joint hidden a few stores down.

SM Megamall around the block, they have ANYTHING you might need. Edsa Shangrila Mall few blocks further away, more upscale and less crowds. Nicer restaurants also.

Linden Suites is a great place to stay

The Linden suites is the best place to stay in Manila, especially if you are looking for seperate bedrooms. The suites are very large and very well equipped. My room had a cd/dvd player sterio,and it even had a microwave in the full kitchen, and a 4 burner stove. The security is also exceptional at the Linden Suites. I felt safer at Linden Suites than i do at my house in the States. The pool was very nice,and warm,and clean, and the breakfast buffet was incredible. And the price was good to, as i booked it on Expedia.

Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay

The is a SM Mega mall near to the Linden Suites Hotel that you can walk to, and buy almost anything you will ever need. I had to buy a suitcase at the last minute, cuz my zipper broke on the bag i had. Thank god for the mega mall so close, or i would have missed my flight.

Linden Suits was a good hotel but a little farther from the airport than we would like.

So-So Hotel

It is billed as a great place to stay but, after finding a clean, well kept room the first day the quality quickly slipped and things like towels went from three the first day to two thereafter and the bathrobe that was available was taken for cleaning and an old, discolored and tattered one was left to replace it. The food at the buffet is cold and eggs watery. There were other problems but not worth mentioning.

A good hotel, reasonably prced...

The only thing I didn’t like is the hotel’s parking area.... However, the location is perfect and close to almost anything in the city.

Comfortable and quiet.

Enjoyed my visit. The staff were helpful and polite. The hotel is very close to a huge shopping center with everything you could need. The pool was nice, food was good but not spectacular (but not overpriced either). Overall the hotel was quiet and comfortable.

Excellent location for those who like quiet relaxation and those who enjoy retail therapy. Good massages are also available in the nearby mall for very reasonable prices.
