Room uncomfortably hot too many locks to go through coming in/going out street noise unacceptable mold in tub in bathroom

Great Place to stay
This is a very nice hotel but it is closing Oct. 1, 2008 to become an abused womens shelter. It is very close to everything, Has a chinese restaurant and serves a breakfast buffet to all guests. Also had lunch buffet. Although I was not satisfied with the buffets, everything else was great.

There are many shops and restaurants in the area with many businesses. Close to everything. To bad it is closing

Limited is being gracious.
First impressions. The outside gardens were overgrown with weeds. The non smoking room we had still had an odor. The rugs in our room needed replacing or at least shampooing and restretching. A vent existed in the bathroom but no fan was installed. Smoke and sounds from adjacent smoking rooms drifted through that vent. Clean bathroom and paper thin sheets.Being wireless, we could use our computer in the room without cables. The included breakfast was better than the usual danish and coffee, but the quality of powdered eggs, overcooked sausage and low price cerals was inferior to the fruits offered. For a tolerant businessperson on a budget, it is a basic room. No amenities for a family group. Overall, not that comforable.
Traveler's tip
The neighboring area is mostly businesses. A post office in the Ace Hardware store across the street and a gas station and Mcdonalds next door. No pool or game room for kids.
