Suprised
My husband and I were very impressed with the hotel. Clean, comfortable, convienent to the Cruise terminal. Loved the room and the view. The resturant in the hotel was very good, but a little pricey. Staff was very friendly. We would absolutely go back!!

Great stop before Mobile Cruise
We selected this hotel due to its close proximity to the Carnival Crusie Terminal. We had read a review that trashed the hotel because of noise from the nearby trains. This was true...didn’t bother us, we’re from Chicago and are used to city sounds....but if a train will bother you don’t stay anywhere near this hotel. Staff were not helpful and in fact gave us incorrect or conflicting information about several things including taxis and restaurants. The concierge barely deserved that title at all. Taxi service in Mobile is virtually non existent. Use a car service if you can, it’s expensive but reliable. Hotel van will take you to the Cruise Ship Terminal which is a couple of blocks away. Since we won’t ever sail from Mobile again, we will probably not stay here again...but if you’re sailing with Carnival this is a good place to stay the night.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
Taxi service in Mobile is virtually non existent. Use a car service if you can, it’s expensive but reliable. Go to the Original Oyster House out in Spanish Fort...You won’t believe how GREAT the seafood is there.
