First review I have made in a long time!
Normally I don’t do online reviews. Most places I have stayed at in the last year or so have been "average". The Estrela however, stands far above the crowd. This is a large, modern, family run business. The hotel is across the street from the main Fatima Square. The rooms were super clean, breakfast buffet was tasty and best of all the price was what I consider "cheap". If you are driving they have free parking and can walk to everything you need to see. Plus they give Expedia deals so you pay up front and don’t have to exchange any money.

Great place to stay
Hotel Estrela was a great place to stay. It is walkable distance from the bus station when you come up from Lisbon -- it’s located right next to the Sanctuary, very close to everything. Breakfast offering seemed a little pricey so we did not take advantage, but they have a great bar/patio area where you can sit for late-night drinks and a cigar for very reasonable prices. Very clean, very impressive, I think newly remodeled so everything was top-notch, we thought.

Excellent location, new hotel, good food but order the day menu. No luxury but good quality/price ratio
