staff helpful and everything was good
The room was nice and clean and the beds comfortable. The best part was the shower, lots of water with a great shower head.
Traveler's tip on dining
Be sure to walk down town a few blocks on the opposite side of the street and go into the wonderful Erick Schat’s bakery...fabulous breads and sandwiches...good cinnamon rolls, too!

Happy experience
Our room was comfortable, we slept well, and when we peeked out of our window in the morning, there was a magnificent view of the high Sierras. The folks at the front desk were very friendly and efficient. They should be given a raise!

Good price. not bad if you’re doing outdoor stuff.
The hotel staff was incredibly friendly. I had just hiked Mt. Whitney and was dog tired and dirty. It was fine for that type of outing. However, the plumbing fixtures were rundown and the fitted sheet would not stay on the mattress. Still, for the money and what I needed it for, it was fine.
