If this hotel were a person it’d be a leathery cougar on Miami beach.
By the end of the season, this place is worn out beyond belief. Leaving aside the tacky decor, the biggest problem with it is its lack of maintenance. Our room featured a broken mount for the shower head, a broken soap dish, and a stained carpet. Also, no queen beds were available, only two twin beds. I have no idea how this place is rated as a four-star hotel. Maybe it deserved four stars when it opened in the seventies, but I don’t think fixed anything or invested in an interior decorator since. It was close to the beach. That’s about all I can say for it.
