Great location but a bit noisy
Location can’t be beat, right on Plaza Mayor. My room was not one that fronted the plaza (those are much higher priced), but was noisy nonetheless. You could hear people in nearby rooms, and the plumbing was noisy (eg could clearly hear when someone else flushed the toilet or showered). It wasn’t enough noise to be really disruptive to me, but if you’re a light sleeper, you might notice. Also, they have these quirky glass doors to the bathrooms - mostly frosted glass, but right in the middle is their logo, about 18 inches square, which is part clear, part frosted glass. Doesn’t offer a lot of privacy! Free internet access was handy, as was the computer they have in the tiny lobby, where you could quickly check email or weather reports etc, even if you hadn’t brought your own computer.
