Good location, good value
Very good hotel in a convenient location.
Traveler's tip
It’s very easy to take a bus from the Berlin airport and get to the Zoo Station in less than 1/2 hour. There you are in the center and can do all train, subway and bus connections.

Berlin, Berlin
The rooms are very small, about the size of three double beds put together, something that I don’t prefer especially if I am rooming with another person. Although, it is considerably clean compared to others. The staff aren’t helpful enough when asked for help. The breakfast is good, it can be very crowded before 9am due to travelers on tour buses. An excellent choice for group tours, not something I would consider if I am travelling alone or with a family. Location is absolutely perfect, couple of blocks from the S-Bahn Station, and minutes from all the attractions. Excellent restaurants nearby, shopping is within minutes as well. Overall, I give it a 3.

A very nice hotel
Grand City Excelsior hotel Berlin is a nice place to stay, esp. for business trips. It’s clean, the staff is quite welcoming and the breakfast is nice. The hotel is situated in the center of Berlin, very near to the zoo, metro and bus stations.
