Convenience of the airport location, but not impressed
Sofitel chain has made me happier in the past. The room was clean and the bed legendary confortable, however the hotel is not pretty and the inside is an 80’s style interior renovated, but clearly misses the point. The bar/ restaurant is a coconut/tropical decoration of a really bad taste. prices are high for a bedsit.
Traveler's tip for business travelers
Do not take any drinks or breakfast in the hotel as it is prohibitive, rather go in the airport shopping gallery. The hotel is really conveniently located in the airport.This is the big selling point for me.

Right inside the airport but unexpectedly nice. Made it relaxing to catch a very early flight.

convenience and comfort
I needed a one night stay in Lyon. I arrived on a Friday and was to meet a group on Saturday at the airport so the convenience of having a hotel located right there was great. The room was clean and very comfortable yet the view of the cluttered rooftop was disappointing so I just kept the sheer draperies closed. I took the shuttle bus into Lyon for dinner and a quick tour of the city and returned to the hotel afterward. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you are only going to be there for an overnight stay.
